Russell Best
Hey everyone! My name is Russell Best, and I’m from Enid, Oklahoma. At 40 years young, I’ve had quite the journey. Growing up in a loving family, my world turned upside down when my parents divorced and remarried. 😔
As a teenager, I fell into trouble that led me through the juvenile system and ultimately into prison. 🚔 Over 17 years, I faced the harsh realities of crime, hatred, and gang life, cycling in and out of incarceration four times. But on October 1st, 2021, I walked out for the last time, realizing I was heading down the same destructive path.
Then, I found CareCenter Ministries in Dallas, Texas! 🙌 This was my fresh start. I discovered discipleship, found God, and surrounded myself with incredible men of faith who helped me transform into the man I’m meant to be. 💪 God called me into ministry, and I embraced the internship program at the Academy of Inner City Missions, where I learned how to serve in His name.
Today, I proudly serve as the Home Director for the mens discipleship home in Dallas. It’s an honor to guide men who are struggling with addiction, just like I once did. My story is just one example of what a surrendered heart can achieve. 💖 If God can change my life, I know He can change yours too! 🙏✨
