The Leadership Academy was developed for men and women in CareCenter's one-year program who feel called, by God, into full-time ministry. This program is an additional two-year commitment and is a leadership 'boot camp' to equip the men and women in hands-on discipleship. Once deciding to enter the Leadership Academy, the resident is called an Intern and begins learning how to develop life long followers of Christ while handling many responsibilities. They continue to live in the home and help run the day-to-day operations of the Men's and Women's Programs. The acting Home Directors, along with Pastoral Staff, oversee the Interns to ensure Godly growth in each individual.
While participating in the Leadership Academy, the Interns also participate in the International School Of Ministry (ISOM). This is a college curriculum that, if completed, an Intern can earn their associate's degree in Biblical Studies to further their skills, and most importantly, their God-given gifts to use effectively in whatever direction of ministry God calls them to serve.
